Web Store

So far all is still working tip top with the web store. Now just have to wait for the Sedgefield Calendar to arrive. Date from printers state expected delivery November 5th. Hopefully no later.

Web Store

Software problems with the Web Store is sorted I hope, so now in the process of finalising and tidying up. So, without a major disaster happening, it should be open and running on Monday morning.

Weather

The gloomy dark mornings continue this Autumnal Saturday. Yes it's dark. Yes it's damp. Yes it's breezy and miserable. But, we have to male the most of it so let's just enjoy.

Firework display last night at Ceddesfield Hall laid on by the Council. Personally I think the money should be put towards local services but that's me.

Miserable Weather

It's looking a bit awful outside from my window this morning. Strong breeze, low cloud, damp, fairly dark mixed with the odd spit of rain. Oh I forgot, leaves falling like snow. A day definitely staying at home.

Shopping

Thursday is Teesside Park Day. What makes it worse is when it's cold, grey and breezy.

Back at work, the Web Store is coming along nicely now after I succeeded in rectifying software problems. Hopefully up and running soon.

Problems

Problem again. When you've deleted something and you shouldn't have on the server. What's worse don't no what I deleted.

So a delay in finalising the Web Store is now in place. Hopefully finished ASAP.

HardwickPark

A pleasant autumn day this morning, with a fresh breeze, fairly bright and importantly dry.

Hardwick Park was busy too as I forgot the schools are off. Geese noise was profound on the lake with numbers increasing as I walked nearby. Never witnessed in 30 years both the numbers and the activity these last few weeks.

Problem's, problem's.

Spent time all day today, at least till this minute, sorting out 2022 Calendar's rather than sorting Web Store out. Just when I was winning with the payment section software on my web store, I discover a printing error with the 2022 Sedgefield Calendar. So it's back to the printers to order a new batch. At least the 2022 Bird Calendars are ok and will be ready to purchase in the next few days.

Walkies

Decided to have a quick break from the computer first thing this morning, completing a walk to Hardwick and back. Fairly quiet as well outside, possibly due to the cold weather and grey skies.

AT the entrance to Hardwick Hotel, left of the main entrance and drive, notice a lot of fungi amongst the grass. Some where damaged, trodden on I suspect, but some impressive ones. Called Spooky Inkcap, common more down south. Picture below.

Web Store Next Stage

Today is the start of the final leg of my Web Store. Awkward till now, even more from today. It's the Payments Page today to sort out. Have dreaded this but will have a go. Wish me luck.

Web Work - cont.

After a morning out, taken up for personal reasons at Gateshead, back now continuing on designing and software work to be applied to web store. The date is still valid for all to be completed by the end of this weekend.

Weather not good here this afternoon. Decent morning but rain is falling made worse by a breeze and falling temperature. It is now Autumn now, so to be expected.

Sparrowhawk

Still on with Web Store. On with the individual Calendar Photos for the store which is time consuming.

While at kitchen sink at midday, watched 7 goldfinches on feeders before a male sparrow hawk dived in. Luckily for the goldfinches they managed to fly off unharmed. For the next 25 minutes the sparrow hawk sat waiting before flying off empty handed.

Web Store

Steadily though slowly made another milestone in building a Web Store. Today was inserting of my own code into parts of the customisation part of the software.

Hopefully, I mean hopefully, it will be up and ready sometime this week or over the weekend.

Delay in Store Opening

Yes. Unfortunately another delay in the store opening. Just slow and perfecting the design. Will be definitely opening this week or the latest at the weekend. (Photo: Swamps of Hardwick Park)

Working web store

As soon as able today it is back on the computer, continuing with web store. Slowly but surely it will be hopefully available by Monday.

Autumn colours

Working on store.

Time over the last two days has taken up by working on the web software to build a store. Unfortunately every corner resulted in probelms but as from last night a breakthrough. S hopefully it may be fully available sometime over the weekend.

New Web Site

Repeating that said on Home Page, I have managed to update Web Site and uploaded. Many additions are to be added later including a Store and Workshop Page/Link.

Also managed to clear garage. Only took a month to do although plenty of rubbish still needs to be removed to tip. Walks are back on the agenda again but these too are limited due to time scale and other reasons.

On social media platforms I confirmed on October 1st, due to personal reasons, the end of my gas appliance maintenance business of Gascom after 33 years. This has given me the time to start a new business called Keith Tennet Digital. Business will include photography, film, design, art, etc., but mainly purchases online.
